OnePlus is gearing up to introduce its inaugural foldable smartphone, the OnePlus Open, next month. Recent leaks and reports have shed light on the specifications and features of this upcoming folding device. Initially rumored to be named OnePlus Fold, the company explored various monikers before settling on the title OnePlus Open. The device is anticipated to adopt a design reminiscent of the Oppo Find N2, which made its debut in December of the previous year.

Renowned tipster Max Jambor (@MaxJmb) has divulged that the OnePlus Open will incorporate a periscope lens boasting 3x optical zoom, and the camera components, branded by Hasselblad, will significantly occupy the handset's space. Furthermore, Jambor suggests that the OnePlus Open will bear a resemblance to the Oppo Find N2, a foldable device with a book-style configuration. The color choices for the OnePlus Open are reported to be Black and Green, according to Jambor.
Oneplus Fold Specs Leaks
Under the hood, the OnePlus Open is rumored to be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, coupled with 16GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage. The device is expected to flaunt a 7.8-inch 2K AMOLED primary display, accompanied by a 6.3-inch AMOLED cover screen, both boasting a 120Hz refresh rate.

In the realm of photography, the OnePlus Open is projected to house a rear camera setup comprising a 50-megapixel sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 48-megapixel sensor featuring an ultra-wide lens, and a 32-megapixel sensor equipped with a periscope lens. On the front, the device is likely to sport dual 32-megapixel camera sensors for selfies and video calls.
